In 2009, the keynote speaker is Marilyn Tam, the former CEO of Aveda Corporation. Ms. Tam has also served as the President of Reebok Apparel and Retail Group and Vice President of Nike, Inc. She is a successful entrepreneur who has built and developed three diverse companies to include a corporate consulting & training company, web portal company, and a supply chain software company. She is national director of SCORE, affiliated with the Small Business Administration and dedicated to the development, growth and success of small businesses nationwide with 11,500 volunteers and 389 offices. Tam, who was born in Hong Kong to a traditional Chinese family, also founded the Us Foundation to facilitate global action and dialogue on social, economic and environmental issues. She is author of How to Use What You've Got to Get What You Want, a book that has been published in English, Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Spanish and Thai.
