Now in its sixth year, the Columbia Business School Healthcare Conference brings together a diverse array of healthcare industry practitioners and students from Columbia Business School and other top-tier professional schools to discuss and debate the challenges and opportunities in the global healthcare marketplace. Last year’s conference drew over 500 professionals and students. This year’s theme: “New Healthcare Paradigm: Technology, Value, Emergence” focuses on the need for advanced technology to drive innovation and promote cost efficiencies, how escalating costs and slowing economies demand higher value for each healthcare dollar invested, and the emergence of attractive new global markets and an interdependent healthcare “ecosystem”.

Over 35 speakers and panelists will discuss an array of topics covering biopharma, medical devices and diagnostics, healthcare payors and providers, information technology, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity, emerging markets, and career strategies in the healthcare sector. The conference will conclude with a networking reception and career fair with leading healthcare employers.
