The Beat Michigan Rally luncheon is the premier fundraiser for Ohio HI-Y Youth in Government and is held at the Columbus Renaissance Hotel in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Since 2003, the Rally has raised over $280,000 for the program. Now in its 7th year, the event continues grow and bring awareness about this youth leadership opportunity while celebrating the Ohio State-Michigan football rivalry.
This year's event features Cie Grant, former Ohio State linebacker, most known for blitzing University of Miami quarterback Ken Dorsey 2003 Fiesta Bowl, forcing a 4th down incompletion and securing the 2002 BCS National Championship for Ohio State.
Previous speakers include Art Schlichter and Greg Frey (2008), Craig Krenzel (2007), and Earle Bruce (2006).
