The Sport Management Club and the Office of Admissions at Misericordia University is hosting the 9th Annual Sport Management Roundtable on April 7th, 2009 on campus in the Lemmond Theater at Walsh Hall from 12:30pm - 2:00pm.

What is the Roundtable?

The Sport Management Roundtable is an event held at Misericordia University that brings together a variety of professionals within the sports industry. These professionals make-up a panel that introduces themselves and discuss their positions, their career paths, what it is like to work in the sports industry, recent trends in the field, etc. The panelists are then put through an open question and answer period with the audience.

Who makes up the audience?

The audience consists of current Misericordia University Sport Management majors as well as prospective Sport Management major students from local high schools. This event is open to the public and has the capacity of 300 people. Anyone who is interested is more than welcome to attend.

Jeff Barrett - Chief Executive Officer,Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins
