Speaker and Topic: Chet Kagel - 6Sigma Black Belt JONAH MBA Lean Culture: Key Elements To A Successful Implementation
Most of us, at one time or another, have had to participate or lead an implementation of a new significant process, product, or (cringe) computer system of some type. Most of us have seen the success or failure of these implementations based on how two significant factors were addressed: Preparation and Culture.
In this presentation, Chet Kagel will be offering us his experienced viewpoint on the implemation of Lean philosophy and processes. What are some of the common characteristics of companies that implement Lean and what part does their culture play? Which elements of a company's culture contribute most to being successful with Lean? What changes, if any, might we expect to our culture when we embark on a Lean journey? What can we do to make Lean more successful?
Chet Kagel has over 25 years of manufacturing management and consulting experience with companies ranging from Fortune 100 to venture startups. With a comprehensive senior management background in wide variety of manufacturing companies, holding positions of Vice President, General Manager, and Director of Operations, Chet specializes in strategic planning, constraints management, operations re-engineering and a wide range of process improvement techniques to assist companies in achieving high performance status.
Please attend our Professional Development Program on November 10, 2009, bring your questions and share your experiences as we discuss the impact of culture on going Lean. Best regards.
