Alun Michael is a former Cabinet Minister who has held office as Deputy Home Secretary, and Minister of State for Industry and the Regions. He is currently a member of the Committee on Standards in Public Life, the Justice Select Committee and the Welsh Affairs Select Committee and and has played a leading role in establishing the UK Internet Governance Forum. He will speak about current online threats and the need for coordinated and cooperative activity between government, industry and law enforcement to develop a multi-stakeholder approach to these challenges.
