Following up on the success of the Architecture Forum in the North, 2008, Black Marble and Microsoft are again running a day featuring the top architecture experts in the UK.

Black Marble and Microsoft invite you to join us for an event featuring the top architecture experts in the UK. This is an unique opportunity to provide IT Managers, IT and software architects from Northern businesses the chance to learn about the latest technologies and best practices from Microsoft in the field of Architecture.

This full day event will provide insightful information about the latest techniques, demonstrating how with Microsoft’s architecture tools and technologies you can address your current business needs.

Returning this year are Microsoft Speakers Matt Deacon, Simon Thurman and Simon Davies.

Simon Thurman Simon has worked in the IT industry for 20 years. In that time his roles have included developer, analyst, designer and architect. At Microsoft he primarily works with enterprise organisations and Web sites talking about how technology can support and develop their business.

Simon Davies Simon began his computing career over 20 years ago as a PC developer then moved on to work on Mainframe and UNIX systems before returning to the PC world with the advent of Windows NT. For the last 12 years at Microsoft Simon has worked with organisations to help them understand how to create new applications using new platforms and technology from Microsoft, in the recent past he has been working with early adopters of Windows Azure.
