Join AIGA Baltimore as we celebrate the history of Baltimore graphic design through the story of one of its most famous firms: Barton Gillet. On Thursday, December 4, we'll recount the glory of the firm that virtually created the entire graphic design industry in Baltimore in Baltimore as we celebrate one of our own.
Ed Gold and friends will bring to life the creativity and passion that made this firm one of the most celebrated and admired in the country in a panel discussion with former designers and staff at Barton Gillet. We'll find out what it took to develop a brand new business and creative model, and what it took to stay ahead of the imitators
And at this event we'll also celebrate 50-plus years of Ed's commitment to the Baltimore design community through his designing, teaching and mentoring as AIGA Baltimore awards him the first ever AIGA Baltimore Fellowship Award.
