Thursday, November 5 Kick-off
The Bill White for Texas Campaign is introducing family nights, where parents and kids can spend an evening together working to move Texas forward. While Moms and Dads spend their time volunteering, the campaign staff will have responsible adults who can lead kids in important campaign tasks of their own. Students will spend part of the evening learning about how our democracy works - everything from what a senator does to how an election works.
Education and service are part of who Bill White is because both his parents were school teachers, his dad - a veteran who taught civics and American history.
Our Family Nights will be every other week, and the first two are Thursday, November 5 and Thursday, November 19. Join the Bill White for Texas Campaign Staff, Volunteers, Parents and Students for the first of many fun evenings of family and public service!
