The I-COM is an industry backed global forum for exploring measurement issues facing the Digital Advertising Industry, with the goals of international cooperation, information sharing and working toward consensus on best practices.
The 3rd I-COM Global Summit will be held March 10-13th, 2010 in Lisbon, Portugal and will help set a path towards “True Picture” while updating participants on the worldwide progress made on existing measurement initiatives.
I attended the last I-Com in Barcelona and it was great. If you care about digital metrics, this show is a must. And, it IS in Lisbon. I'll be there.
I-Com Barcelona was really great. After all the Social Media explosion and all the great stuff we were challenged to measure this last months, I bet Lisbon's conference will be fantastic. I'll be there for sure.
Terrific I-com programs in Berlin and especially Barcelona. No doubt Lisbon will continue the tradition. Tremendous opportunity for industry newcomers and veterans alike to better understand the significant challenges and opportunities surrounding digital media measurement. This show is an absolute must...
Definitely looking forward to learn about all those measurement developments & new solutions around the world that took place since we last met in Barcelona...
In the Middle East, we are particularly interested; as measurement initiatives are just getting started now, wit online advertising estimated to be be lower than 1% of total media expenditure.
It's where we met measurement grandees like Rick Bruner, Emmet Kelly, Andrew Bernstein and social network whizz kid Lorenz Bogaert. Amaia and I had a super time in a very "measurement" oriented crowd...
Looking forward to discussing what we've been up to with Effective Measure in the Middle East with key industry people at I-COM.
I attended the last I-COM event in Barcelona and was very impressed. The engagement and participation between organizers, speakers and attendees was one of the best experiences I have had at a conference. Great balance of subject matter as well. Overall, very well organized and engaging.
I was in Barcelona and definitely plan to attend Lisbon in 2010. I've been spending a lot of time on the problem of integrating offline, classical data with online, so really look forward to this event.
I attended Berlin and chaired a session in Barcelona-well worth the time invested
I was at the Barcelona event in 2008 and it was terrific: strong content and great networking with peers from around the world. I'm still doing business with a few folks I met for the first time there. I'm looking forward to Portugal in 2010.
Hopefully I'll be able to participate in Portugal in 2010. The event I attended in Barcelona was very valuable and I still use some quotes now and then stolen from the opening speech from Mike Hess. Hope that's ok Mike :)
No problem, Anders. Being quoted means that someone actually listened and paid attention to one's speech! In my own case, the I-Com conference was the catalyst that moved me from someone who was "interested" in learning about the digital space to my actually making real efforts to insure that I "do" learn about digital.
