Career GPS: Navigating the Job Market in the Region’s Entrepreneurial Life Science Community is a free, half-day workshop for senior-level life science professionals who are displaced or potentially displaced.

The free workshop will be held on Friday, November 20th, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m at The Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, Huntsman Hall in Philadelphia, PA with a continental breakfast and a networking lunch provided.

The program has three key parts: a keynote led by Christopher Cashman, CEO of Protez Pharmaceuticals; an informative panel with startup CEOs, senior executives from Shire and Right Management, and a former senior Pharma/MD-turned consultant, which will discuss a range of topics focused on helping attendees understand the dynamics of today's hiring environment, entrepreneurship/entrepreneurial opportunities, and many suggestions provided by registrants; and finally, an exercise co-led by the Life Science Career Alliance and Wharton Small Business Development Center will also discuss entrepreneurship and skill mapping.
