Carlos Baerga will host his 4th annual Celebrity Golf Outing to benefit Roberto Clemente Sports City, on November 14th in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Sports City is a 501(c)(3)not for profit corporation located in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Past events, have included celebrities from Juan Marichal, Joe Morgan and David Ortiz to Julius Jones and Marco Rivera of the Dallas Cowboys. Esai Morales, Jonathan Silverman, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Tony Perez, Carlos Delgado, Whitey Ford, Don Mattingly, Joe Nathan, George Foster, Tito Trinidad, Albert Pujols, Ivan Rodriguez, Javier Vazquez, Ruben Sierra, etc. This year, we expect an even bigger field of celebrities.

RCSC is the lasting vision of baseball Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente, who before his tragic death in 1972 developed the concept of a facility where young people could the value of fair competition, hone their skills at the sports they love, and play their games while experiencing the timeless lessons that sports can bestow – teamwork, friendship, honesty, and the rewards of hard work. In the process they receive gifts they will not lose, including the self-esteem that comes from accomplishment gained through dedication and perseverance. RCSC is a sports complex, but to the thousands of young people who have passed through its programs, it is also a classroom.
