is this in addition to the chicago grammy party that is put on by NARAS?? or a seperate event??
This is a totally separate event from NARAS however we are members of NARAS and our attendees will have the ability to register for new NARAS membership, those who qualify. The difference is that this exclusive event will include the entire entertainment industry, not just music industry. From photographers, actors, fashion, sports/athletes, screenwriters, choreographers, models, personal trainers, hair/make-up, event planners, personal security, limousine companies, private jet travel, dj's, radio, theater, casting , business managers, etc. We are having the biggest Grammy Telecast & Entertainment Industry Networking Event the city has ever seen. A POWER NIGHT!
Oh, and we aren't charging as much as NARAS (for non-members), it's the same for everyone, nor do we charge for RSVP's who don't show up. The academy charged a $75 telecast "no-show fee" (charged to your credit card if you don't show up) a year ago at a telecast that one of my music industry colleagues attended on the west coast (which I won't comment on that charge, lol). But I love NARAS, I'm a proud long-standing member, just sharing the difference in events. Personally, I'd rather network and expand my overall entertainment industry connections while watching the show then just sit there like other events. Awesome. Let's rock and roll!
