How has change affected your organisation?
Do you believe that we are still at a critical stage in emerging from the crisis? And if so - how prepared is your organisation for either a second dip or swift recovery?
Join us for an insight into how Belinda Harding - CEO HR & Corporate Affairs @ Bankwest - has steered her firm through ongoing change while maintaining business reputation and people performance.
Bankwest - the iconic WA bank challenging the east coast majors attracted the attention of the market in late 2007 with its aggressive growth, opening on average one ‘new look’ store a week.
This growth plan was impacted when ownership of Bankwest changed hands following the acquisition of HBOS in the UK by Lloyds International, and again with the sale of Bankwest and St Andrew’s to the Commonwealth Bank of Australia – all within just four months.
Faced with these rapid changes in a deteriorating economic climate, the business was forced to re-adjust. New leadership, new strategic direction, new operating structure, new business targets, reduced headcount and a new business culture have all been introduced early 2009.
On behalf of the Lee Hecht Harrison, we look forward to you joining us for breakfast with Belinda Harding, Chief Executive HR & Corporate Affairs at Bankwest.
