Join over 200 leaders from Maryland government, business, academia as we pay tribute to our 2009 MD-AEP Environmental Leadership Series hosts including: Battelle, Coca-Cola Enterprises, I.M. Systems Group, Spiralcat of Maryland, UMD's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, UMD Center for Environmental Science, UMD's ESSIC Climate Change Center and Zephyr Environmental Corporation.
These organizations collectively represent world-class technology, research, science and governance applications with tremendous potential for export and are wonderful examples of Maryland's green leadership.
The banquet also promises to be one one of the best environmental business networking events of the year and a great opportunity for you to meet with key public-private players to help connect you with green business opportunities both here in Maryland and in Asia.
We are honored to have Dr. Robert Summers from the Maryland Department of Environment and Bob Agee from the "Green" City" of Annapolis to share their perspectives and co-present with the MD-AEP. We are also particularly excited to have Aris Melissaratos, Senior Advisor to the President for Enterprises Development at Johns Hopkins University and author of "Prosperity through Innovation," join us to present a special MD-AEP Green Manufacturing Leadership Award to Dr. Michael Galiazzo, Executive Director of the Regional Manufacturing Institute.
The Banquet will also provide a great setting for the announcement of Maryland's hosting of the 2011 Environmental Management of Enclosed Coastal Seas global summit.
