On Friday the 6th of november the Ship of Fools gallery organizes the 'Don't believe the type' symposium. It will be a day with an inspiring mix of workshops, lectures, party and the exhibition with the work of internationally known artist and designers. The love of typography is what brings these artists and designers together and this will be shown during the expo. During the day there will be workshops by Job Wouters, Luca Barcellona and Yomar Augusto and in the evening lectures by Martijn Sandberg, Yomar Augusto and Alex Trochut. After this, the international exhibition 'Don't believe the type' will be opened. The expo shows that design can have a huge influence on how we look at things. We can make bad things look pretty good, shady things look pretty reliable and even make the best things look crappy. Like a sheep in wolves clothing.
