With European booking agents,60 ETEP festivals, the EBU, Yourope and Network Europe supporting the program, EuroSonic is the most extensive and progressive showcase festival in Europe.

NOORDERSLAG With a proven track record over the past 22 years, Noorderslag showcases the best new and upcoming artists that the Dutch music scene has to offer.

CONFERENCE With over 100 panels, presentations, discussions and meetings (Yourope, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), The ETEP festivals,The European Export Offices and Network Europe.) the conference serves as a platform for the international music industry, focused on European music, touring, festivals, live & record music industry and media developments.

EBBA'S - European Border Breakers Awards The European Commission announced that the 7th Edition of the European Border Breakers Awards will again take place at EuroSonic Noorderslag.

THE EUROPEAN FESTIVAL AWARDS AT at EuroSonic Noorderslag 2010. Yourope, the European Festival Association has joined forces with festivals portal Virtual Festivals Europe to create the first ever awards to celebrate the ever-growing strength and diversity of the pan-European music festival marketplace and recognize those individuals and organizations responsible for brightening up the lives of millions each summer. The European Festival Awards will culminate in a live ceremony taking place at the Grand Theatre on Wednesday January 13th, 2010.

FOCUS ON NORWAY The next edition of EuroSonic Noorderslag will focus on Norway. The event will feature performances by Norwegian artists and will dedicate conference topics towards doing business with Norway. The Norwegian focus will be officially presented at the Øya Festival in Oslo on 14th of August and is supported by NRK P3 and Music Export Norway.

Taking place in Groningen in the north of the Netherlands (2,5 hours from Amsterdam), EuroSonic Noorderslag consists of two festivals; EuroSonic (thu / fri) and Noorderslag (sat) and a three day conference. Wednesday?! Yes! EuroSonic Noorderslag will now kick-off with an official Wednesday program. Of course some of you already arrived for an early check in on Wednesday but now there is more to do than hanging around in the local bar.
