In commemoration of United Nations World Water Day on March 22nd, FACE Africa is planning its first benefit cocktail reception to raise money for our clean water initiatives in Liberia.
The evening will include a cocktail reception, open bar, a presentation on PUR, special guests including the Mayor of Cambridge, a raffle and lots of special touches.
Tickets are: $20 (students) $60 (individual) $100 (couple/pair)
All proceeds from this event will go towards FACE Africa's Clean Water Initiative.
ABOUT FACE AFRICA: FACE Africa is working in partnership with Procter & Gamble to bring their point-of-use water purification system (PUR) to rural communities in Liberia, where access to safe drinking water is almost non-existent.
Developed in collaboration with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the PUR packet is an amazing innovation that quickly turns 10 liters of dirty, potentially deadly water into clean and drinkable water.
