We all know that market conditions are challenging, and many of us working in the finance and related IT and consulting industries have experienced job losses or insecurity, and significant losses on our personal savings and investments. There are two ways of approaching this situation:

  1. Stay 'Cool' (at least try to), hope that things will be normal again, and do nothing.
  2. Stay 'Cool' (at least try to), hope that things will be normal again, and position yourself in such a way that when things do become normal again, you emerge ahead of other people.

We recommend the second approach.

Positioning yourself involves investing in yourself - your skillset. This will ensure that when the next hiring cycle begins, you have a strong profile to beat the competition. Also it will help you critically analyze the markets you invest your savings in, and extract value in both up and down cycles. We will talk about skills needed to get into FO/Business side in finance industry, and give you a sneak preview of what is involved in investment decision making. We will cover topics including the components of a market, and how a typical FX contract is traded. We will also discuss an option trade, and break it down into 'Greeks'.

This could be a very valuable session, especially if you wish to move to the business side in finance industry, or for your personal wealth management. This is a 2 hour study course which will involve active discussions, and live demo trades.
