Riga Food 2010 presents the Great Indian Festival

First in the Baltic States, the Great Indian Festival will take place in the framework of the 15th international food industry fair Riga Food 2010. The festival will be a wonderful opportunity to add more knowledge about India and its national cuisine, to buy Indian food products and other goods.

In the Indian national stand visitors will have an opportunity to taste a wide variety of Indian dainties, to watch dance groups from Rajasthan region, to buy diversity of spices, ajurvedic products, Indian and Nepalese carpets, pottery, wood, textile and leather articles and many other. Professionals will have a possibility to evaluate food production and packing equipment, systems and products.

Nepalese chefs will offer national dishes and their culinary masterpieces for tasting. The mission of the festival is to bring to the visitors an authentic feel of India, to provide for information and contact exchange and to promote trade relations between India and European countries. The organiser of the Great Indian Festivalis the representative office of BT 1 in India – Sakambari Traders Delhi. The festival is to be held according to the general practice of holding national representation events of Asian countries in Europe.

The 15th international food industry fair Riga Food 2010 will take place at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre, Riga, Latvia, from 8 to 11 September 2010.
