Annual Benefit Gala and Silent Auction to benefit the Golden Gate Philharmonic at the Russian Center of San Francisco featuring wine tasting, chamber music and a silent auction.

The Golden Gate Philharmonic (GGP) is a non-profit San Francisco Youth Orchestra dedicated to fostering musical talent and providing educational opportunities to children regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity or socio-economic background.

With an emphasis on an integrated program of chamber music, theory and sectional coaching by fine young professionals, the orchestra presently numbers over 100 students, with ages spanning grades K through college from 40 Bay Area schools.

The annual benefit is a fund-raiser that helps close the gap between tuition and operating expenses as well as fund a scholarship program for low income students.
