It's a festival which is truly unique in it's kind. What we do is travel with about 150 artists, crew and fans along all the dutch islands (Waddeneilanden) and perform at each island at several locations. We use 6 huge tradiontional sailing charters to get us from island to island. Once we've arrived at an island we build up the festival and a complete island goes Horizontoer!!! It's a big party, you can imagine. After one/two days we travel on again to the next island. With 5 islands to visit, over 40 locations to perform for and around 20.000 visitors Horizontoer is the largest sailing festival in Holland and therefore unique!
