Our 6th Annual Winter Wonderland Holiday Light Show is here!

Girl Scouts of Suffolk County invite you to visit our Holiday Light Show!

It’s Long Island’s leading and largest Holiday Light Show, and this year takes place every night beginning on December 3rd through December 30th starting at 5:00 pm. For $12 a car, thousands of families will drive through a mile-long trail through the woods of Camp Edey in Bayport! Over 65,000 people enjoyed themed holiday displays filled with lights! It’s our most popular fundraiser, helping subsidize the many programs and services we provide free of charge to thousands of disadvantaged children each year!

The event is marketed to all Long Island families, Nassau and Suffolk counties, creatively and aggressively. Our marketing campaign includes ads of all kinds on television, radio and internet, and in local newspapers and magazines. The event will be distributed via e-mail and mail; posters and flyers with discount coupons will be displayed in stores, libraries, banks, and malls throughout the counties. The week before and during the event, street banners and wood signs on high density roads will be announcing the event.

This year it’s easier for you to find the perfect way to contribute to our light show’s success through an assortment of sponsor packages and price points. In appreciation for your generous donation, you and your organization will join along with our current Corporate Sponsors: National Grid, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Empire National Bank, LI McDonald’s, Capital One Bank, Town of Islip, Suffolk County Electrical Contractors Association (SCECA), Civil Service Employees’ Association (CSEA), Association of Municipal Employees (AME), Association of Builders & Contractors Empire Chapter, LI Charities Foundation, and our Media Sponsors: Cooper Video Productions, LI Press, LI Business News, LI Radio Group, Anton Community Newspapers, Networking receiving recognition in a variety of promotional opportunities for well over 65,000 people to see. Most of all, you will know that you are helping underserved children continue to participate in our outreach programs. Please email Mary Garrote at mgarrote@gssc.us for more details.
