Lisa Miller's Bio
Lisa has over 12 years of professional experience in Human Resources - 4 years in Regional Retail HR (LensCrafters), 4 years in Advertising HR (McCann-Erickson Worldgroup and Young & Rubicam), and 4.5 years in Accounting, all with BDO Seidman, LLP. She currently supports the Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Spokane BDO offices. While she is versed in all generalist HR functions, she has concentrated experience in the following areas:
Employee Relations. Over half of Lisa’s human resources career has been primarily focused in the area of employee relations, providing guidance and direction to employees, managers, regional vice presidents, and partners in all areas of company and firm policy interpretation and enforcement, labor law compliance, risk analysis and employee misconduct investigations. Training & Development. Lisa has researched and written training materials and programs for administrative and client services professionals in the areas of Performance Management, Conflict Management, Mentoring, Performing Under Pressure, Communication for Improved Performance, and Developing & Delivering Written Feedback. National-Level Firm Instructor.
