I once had a Project Manager tell me that managing a Fixed Price project was like jumping from a plane without a parachute… both has little chance of success. All joking aside, the fact remains that the number of companies using Fixed Price projects as a strategy is rapidly increasing. While companies see them as a method to “unload all responsibilities”, the reality is they often do more harm than good -- and tend to reflect a vendor’s “worst case scenario”. About the Speaker Frank Mooney is a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Mr. Mooney has over twenty-five years of Project Management and Leadership experience, including over twenty-two years experience working with clients on improving company performance by creating PROACTIVE environments where REPEATABILITY is the standard, PREDICTABILITY is the result and SUCCESS is the norm.
