IT10.rail – Mastering Interfaces in Railway Operation and Planning 21-23 January 2010 in Zurich
The third edition of a noted series of rail conferences in Zurich IT10.rail will be held on 21-23 January 2010. Its organisers are motivated by the success of the previous events in 2005 and 2008, which attracted about 300 experts and decision-makers each. The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich will again be the venue. Four Swiss organisations are collectively organising the three-day international conference: ETH's Institute for Transport Planning and Systems, SMA und Partner AG and OpenTrack Railway Technology GmbH all based in Zurich and systransis AG of Zug.
IT10.rail will focus on the challenges of the various interfaces in the railway system: Key issues will be on communication with customers, interaction among actors during planning phases and interfaces in operations and in the context of ETCS/ERTMS.
The three-day event will include - a colloquium with workshops, - a symposium and - a technical excursion.
The languages of the conference are English, German and French. Use this one-time opportunity to meet with specialists and colleagues from many countries, to establish new contacts and to bring home innovative ideas. We look forward to your visit in Zurich.
