The New Zealand Python User Group is proud to present the first national PyCon conference in New Zealand. PyCon are annual conferences held throughout the world that serve to promote and educate people about the Python programming language. Python is used extensively throughout New Zealand’s academic community, in many commercial and Governmental agencies, and in many other areas. PyCon events are entirely organised by local Python user groups and therefore have a real fun, grassroots community feel about them. The program will consist of straight presentations, and interactive audience discussion sessions. Kiwi PyCon 2009 will attract developers, technologists, technical authors, academics, scientists, engineers, managers and entrepreneurs from around the country.
