We're delighted to announce further details of an upcoming event this month:
Brian Harry - Visual Studio Team System 2010 - 30 April 2009 @ 19:30 GMT
Brian Harry is a Microsoft Technical Fellow who is the Product Unit Manager for TFS, and has been working on TFS since its inception in 2002. He has plenty of experience in working with source control systems - prior to working on TFS he formed One Tree Software back in 1992 and developed SourceSafe, which ended up becoming part of the Microsoft product set in 1994. Brian also worked as Developer Manager of the CLR from the initial creation of the .NET framework through v1.1.
The content of this event will be covering the new features of TFS 2010 (codename Rosario) and what benefits it will bring to software development and project management.
You can read more about Brian on his blog - http://blogs.msdn.com/bharry/.

How-to: Join a LiveMeeting http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/livemeeting/HA102308521033.aspx
As usual, we'll be giving away 1 ReSharper license per 25 attendees. JetBrains is an official sponsor of the Linked .Net Users Group and has graciously provided us with these licenses to give away. Furthermore, we have a 1 year InnerWorkings subscription, worth approx. $2500, with access to their full training catalog.
Is there a registration cost required for this training ?
19:30 GMT EasternTime 15:30 which is 3.30PM EST 12.30PM PST
hi, i am having exp. of 19Months so, does this training helpful for me?
@Aliasgar, no - there's no costs involved with this at all...it's free. @Abhishek, certainly...
How and when do we find out the Live Meeting meeting ID/Entry code needed to join the meeting?
Bob - I believe we'll be putting in on this page, on our website plus in the published calendar.
@Bob, The "Web site" link above us in the event details has all that you need. there's the event id, the username and the password included. so, just click on that when we get around to the meeting itself.
What timezone is it?
Can someone (maybe the organizer) post a Calendar Item so I can add this information to my Outlook Calendar? thanks in advance :D
Hi Brian, unfortunately at the meeting date and time I will be busy doing a training session, so I would know if the registration of this event will be available for an offline viewing or download. Thanks.
I would like to know the timezone or use a call from Outlook

@Bruno, we have a calendar up and running for all our events: webcal://isaacabraham.calendar.live.com/calendar/Linked+In+.NET+User+Group+Events/calendar.ics it integrates straight into outlook and you don't have to worry about timezones etc etc.
@Roberto, all our events are recorded and made available from www.lidnug.org ..
@Brian, I can't subscribe to the RSS feed using Thunderbird. Could you please have a look at the XML format of the feed? Thanks
@Anton, unfortunately i can't touch the RSS from the calendar as it's generated by Windows Live Calendar...sorry buddy :(
Hi all, is there some events in Germany ? coz for me like for the student it's a lot of money to participate u in USA :) regards, Julian
@Yulian While the time for this is US Centric (Brian Harry is in the US) keep in mind that this is a FREE ONLINE event open to all. All you need is an internet connection and the free Live Meeting client. (and speakers to listen to audio and a microphone to ask audio questions)
@Pratyush I believe it would be more useful if are able to download presentation since Rosario is going to integrate with new Biztalk and Bilztalk would also need sql server so side by side praticle would need lot of resources
@Brian, do you plan to record this session and make it avaialable for download later on? It looks very interesting, unfortunately I could not attend it at that time (sure there is much more audience like me!) Best Regards,
Did the time change? I could have sworn it was at 1:30... Well will this be available for download or as an On-Demand presentation?
The event was recorded and we will let you know once we post it and make it avaialble. Also, if you did attend the event and you know the answer to the secret question - please email your reponse to Brian-harry-prize@lidnug.org for a chanse to win
