Ms. JD’s Third Annual Conference on Women in Law - co-sponsored by the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession, NAWL, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Women and Law Committee of the Illinois State Bar Association - will highlight the different career paths available in the legal profession, the changing definitions of success, and the personal and professional infrastructure that best promotes retention and advancement of female attorneys. The conference will be held November 20-21, 2009 in Chicago, IL at Northwestern Law School and will feature more than 20 panels and workshops on topics as broad-ranging as effective mentorship, navigating the economic downturn, and avoiding a "mommy track."
