In 2004, Media Facts introduced a new event for the Dutch and Flemish publishing world: the Nationale Uitgeef Dag. A mixture of trade fair and conference, the event offers producers and suppliers the opportunity to meet, talk and view the exhibited products and services. The fair was complemented by an extensive program of lectures, seminars, workshops and discussions. The Nationale Uitgeef Dag will be held annually, this year it'll be on November 12th 2009 in the Maasgebouw in Rotterdam. Over 1000 publishers and others working in or allied with the publishing sector participated in this event in 2008.
