Wednesday November 11th Chicago After Work will host a business and social networking event at Chicago's First Gastro Lounge. When you walk into the event you will receive a name tag, color coordinated by industry. You will then find other networkers from your industry. This is a great way to expand your network, mingle with other professionals, and create business opportunities. You will be greeted by great music played at a low volume to encourage networking and socializing.

Hello everyone, this does look great and I may indeed attend. Just curious though why we are't meeting in the Chicago Loop, where most people work. Maybe next one will be a little closer to the Chicago Loop.
We normally host events in the Loop, West Loop, and River North. We change venues for each event in order to allow guests to experience new atmospheres and facilitate great networking. Each event has grown larger in size and Red Canary has a great space to host 200+ of Chicago's best professionals.
I would love to come but there's no way I'll drive in from the northern suburbs at this time of day. I would even take the train in but this is nowhere near the loop to cab in without costing a fortune. Please consider location next time.
I also would love to attend...but cannot make the location....nothing planned for the suburbs in the near future? I would be happy to discuss a venue with you for a suburban night!

That's Hilarious Anthony, The venue is not that for out of the loop. It is located at 695 N Milwaukee just south of Chicago Ave. Don't worry we will be back in the loop area for the next event. We just decided to change it up, because the last 8 events have been in the River North, Loop, and West Loop.

Just to clarify... the event starts at 5p but the open bar runs from 6-7p? Thanks.
Mike, That is correct the event opens at 5pm with a cash bar and then from 6-7pm drinks are complumnetary. Then from 7-close it will become a cash bar. This will allow everyone to take full advantage of the complimentary cocktails. It also allows ample time for everyone to check in.
James, Will you allow registration and payment at the door. I won't know if I can make it until Wednesday afternoon, it's a little hectic at work right now. Thanks for the info.
