"Networking Your Way to More Sales" presentation Nov. 10th for published authors, those considering writing their first book, marketing and PR professionals and anyone interested in book publishing.
Speaker Lillian Bjorseth, author of Breakthrough Networking: Building Relationships That Last!
Having successfully published and marketed her own book (now in its third printing) and other products, she will provide authors ideas to help them build their personal networking skills -- and confidence in using them to enhance book sales their authorship profile.
The Chicago Tribune calls Bjorseth a "networking expert" and the Association Forum of Chicagoland dubs her the "business networking expert."
The next meeting of the Author! Author! Chicagoland Book & Author Marketing Network will be Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 7:00pm, at the Downers Grove Chamber of Commerce, 2001 E. Butterfield Rd. Suite 105 Downers Grove, IL 60515. Free registration for first time guests.
Author! Author! brings together authors to share ideas about marketing themselves and their books through promotions, public relations, publicity, advertising and effective low- or no-cost marketing techniques of getting the word out. Our focus is on marketing and promotion, not "how to write."
The agenda features guest speaker(s) followed by discussions of the speaker's, and other, marketing-related issues. Before and after the formal agenda, participants engage in informal group networking and conversations about marketing, publishing and authorship.
Author! Author! meetings are generally held the second Tuesday of the month. Dates and times will be posted on the "About Us" page -- as well as members' and others' book event listings, guest columnists, marketing articles from several sources, tips, advice, and ideas shared by contributors and members.
