HOT TOPIC: “Optimizing Your Recruitment and Social Media Strategies”

Ten years ago the ClueTrain manifesto said that "markets are conversations" but today a more pertinent statement could be that conversations are becoming markets - or that there's a market for monitoring conversations. A whole class of technologies is emerging to help companies keep track of the conversations exploding online. Last month, members of the CFEC learned about how to recruit with social media. Echo Interaction Group will be enhancing that topic by discussing methods on how to optimize your social media recruiting as well as improving your return on engagement for other recruitment tactics. We will be discussing the use and recommendation of social media monitoring and management, widgets and mobile applications, Facebook applications, and speaking to bilingual communities through social media. Other cost effective tactics that will be discussed are: Cause marketing, recruitment blogs, and the importance of having a well designed and user friendly recruitment site.
