As a significant financial centre, and particularly with a key role in the global asset management and investment fund business, Luxembourg has, like other countries, been shaken by the financial and economic crisis that has followed the international credit crunch. Luxembourg has also been affected by the renewed efforts of large industrialized countries to gain access to tax information abroad in their struggle against tax evasion. The opportunities for the Luxembourg financial sector in the aftermath of these crises will be discussed by two panels of speakers, who will also take questions from the audience.
