PRESENTER Pat Ross discusses how he grew companies with private equity investors, how private equity helps and what to avoid. Pat has built a career collaborating with private equity investors and is an expert in corporate turnaround and enterprise value growth. Pat is CEO of Steeplejack Industrial Group, a scaffolding contractor and plant maintenance service provider, and Principal Partner with Polar Capital, a Toronto and Calgary based private equity group. Prior to joining Steeplejack, Pat led Wittke Waste Equipment through the largest equipment company consolidation in Canada. He joined Wittke as a General Manager in Medicine Hat, Alberta and became the CEO. After a period of rapid growth partnering with private equity, revenues grew from $12M to $230M and Wittke was then sold to a strategic buyer. You can also try Pat’s wine, at Beeswinglimited.com.

Regrets: Only owners allowed to attend. Keeping it as a CEO/Owner event.
