Mark your calendars for November 18th to take some time for yourself before the holiday rush and attend the grand finale of the YWCA Dayton’s 2009 Professional Enrichment Series (PES), Dressing for Success without Emptying Your Bank Account.

PES is a series of luncheon programs offered in partnership between the YWCA and Sinclair’s Workforce Development & Corporate Services. They are designed to provide networking opportunities to area women and help them in their personal and professional development. November’s program will feature Marsha Froelich, Executive Director of Clothes That Work and Stephanie Sutterlin from Your True Colors, who will share advice on choosing the right colors for your make-up and wardrobe and putting together a polished professional image on a bargain budget. The event will include demonstrations with well-known area women including: Arundi Venkayya Cox, Business Editor of the Dayton Daily News Ty Stone, Director of Business Operations, YWCA Dayton Natasha Williams, Morning News Anchor, WHIO-TV, Channel 7 Kim Faris, Morning Host, WLQT-FM (Lite 99.9) The November 18th PES will be held from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Sinclair Ponitz Center (Charity Early Room). Individual tickets are $30 each ($10 tax-deductible). Small business sponsorships (two tickets plus display opportunities and program recognition) are available for $250. Proceeds from PES support the YWCA Dayton’s mission, programs and services, including: domestic violence; homelessness; racial justice; affordable housing; childcare; teen services; and personal development for women.
