‘School of Tomorrow’ is the first in a series of annual conferences organized by iDiscoveri as a forum for Education leaders across India to come together and engage in a high-quality dialogue on quality in school education. We believe that the best ideas are created when high-quality minds representing diverse perspectives and contexts come together and confer – that is the purpose of this forum.
Session 1: The ABL Program in Tamil Nadu The Activity Based Learning Program in Tamil Nadu is an outstanding example of a quality-focused intervention in the government school system, which has been implemented at scale in over 37,500 in the state. Many states have learned from this example with respect to the pedagogical approach followed, as well as the methodology to scale the project.

Session 2: Wipro Applying Thought in Schools and the Azim Premji Foundation.
Both these initiatives target the issue of ‘Quality of Learning’ – the former in urban areas, and the latter in rural areas. Through their initiatives in the areas of teacher preparation and support, leadership development and systemic reform, they set an example for the role that corporates can play in uplifting education quality.

Session 3: The KIPP Schools, USA KIPP is a national network of free public schools in the US, with a track record of preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life.
