Feed Your Soul is an opportunity for people to respond to hunger in our community, while enriching their lives with art.
As a symbol of plenty, simple wooden bowls are transformed by members of Milwaukee’s art and design community into innovative works of art; while other artists donate their artwork. The bowls and donated, original artwork are then highlighted at this celebration and silent auction.
In addition to the slients auctions, food and libations, this year's event includes music by DJ D-On and special performances by the Ko-Thi Dance Company.

The event was created 6 years ago under the direction of the Wisconsin Chapters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), and Flux Design. Feed Your Soul has been made possible thanks to the leadership of a talented group of interior design and architecture professionals who donate their time to make this event happen. The core group has grown to include related marketing/design professionals and associates.
All proceeds benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin (formerly named America’s Second Harvest of Wisconsin), the largest private non-profit distributor of food in Wisconsin. They serve 235,000 people annually, 37% of whom are children. To serve such a large number of people, Feeding America partners with 1,100 food pantries, meal programs, and shelters throughout eastern Wisconsin.
Every $1 donated provides five meals to those in need. More than 400 manufacturers, food brokers and retailers donate 12 million pounds of food each year to ensure no one goes hungry in Wisconsin. In 26 years, Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin has distributed over 200 million pounds of food throughout 36 counties in eastern Wisconsin.
