You've been wearing too many hats and need a trusted second-in-command. You've identified a rising star who's a terrific manager, but do they truly have the leadership skills to be your right hand? They may be willing, but are they ready and able to take on the challenge of helping you run your agency and someday leading it themselves? This teleseminar will help your prospective lieutenants answer the question "What's Your Leadership DNA?" by encouraging them to look within to see if he or she has what it takes to make the critical jump from manager to leader, and reinforcing that leaders are appointed not by their bosses, but by their followers.

Participants, both agency leaders and their next generation, will learn to:

Distinguish between the characteristics of a manager and those of a leader. Recognize the "Nine Necessary Steps for Successful Leadership." Identify the skills needed by agency managers to become agency leaders.
