“The undeniable body of evidence in favor of women’s empowerment presents a powerful case for building more inclusive societies and more diverse leadership. At a time when our global economy is facing the greatest challenge in decades, corporations and governments must capitalize on contributions women can make”.
-Ernst & Young Groundbreakers Report, February 09
Womenetics will offer a new perspective on the power of being female with a ground-breaking event in November – “Women and Power: How the Female Approach to Business, Success and Responsibility is Different and Why it Matters”. The new realities of a changed worldwide economy have accelerated the recognition of a fundamental shift in the roles, influence, and opportunities of women. As businesses and cultures seek to understand this new paradigm, female empowerment is more important than ever. Womenetics will examine three categories of powerful women: Women in Business, Women in Politics, and Women in Philanthropy to explore what makes a woman powerful and how she uses power once she has it.
Attracting women working both in the professional and volunteer sectors, the conversation will launch through the powerful, insightful, and seasoned voices of speakers and participants. Womenetics will open frank discussions on what power means to women, how they acquire it, how they use it, and how women’s influence and power differs from the traditional role of men in power. Answers to these questions may be surprising
Just added 2 speakers Cathy Woolard of CARE, and Emory Mulling of The Mulling Group
