As health care moves toward more market competition, alternative delivery models have taken center stage, competing directly with the primary care office and hospital-based emergency department. Meeting consumer need for immediate medical care when the ED is overcrowded or the regular physician office is closed; these viable alternatives are a wake up call to hospital executives to re-assess their current delivery network to enter this growing and increasingly competitive marketplace.

World Health Care Congress is pleased to announce its Leadership Summit on Alternative Delivery Models of Care to be held in Dallas this coming December. This two-day Summit will convene thought leaders and providers from all of the stakeholder industries, i.e. retail/convenient care, urgent care, freestanding ambulatory facilities, and employer onsite clinics as well as executives from hospitals/health systems who are evaluating the cost and clinical effectiveness of integrating alternative delivery models with traditional systems.
