#AGI_NG Conference: Where2.0Now?
November 10, 2009 at 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Bilton Court, Harrogate
A one day conference on the impact of disruptive technologies on the GI industry hosted by the AGI Northern Group (#AGI_NG) and the Centre for Spatial Analysis and Policy (CSAP). A series of short presentations from a range of people on the cutting edge of GI science answering the questions we all have of the impact of Web2.0 on GIS:
'what is all the fuss about?'
'but does anyone actually use this stuff for real?' and
'where is this going?'
If you need answers to these questions, come along. Registration will be via the AGI website.
Speakers include Tim Warr, Ed Parsons (Google), Gary Gale (Yahoo!), Chris Osborn (ITO World), Harry Wood (CloudMade), Jo Cook (OSGeo) and John Fagan (Microsoft) as well as many more. We are especially pleased to announce key note presentations given by Prof. Henk Scholtan (Geodan) and Dr. Michael Sanderson (1Spatial).
Space is strictly limited to 100 - so get your tickets now!
