The AFCEA Alamo Chapter’s Career Fair is November 3 and 4 and is geared to people with clearances and technical careers. It is being held in conjunction with the Technology Expo here in San Antonio. This is more than a job fair. We have Mr. David Patrick from the MOAA Transition Program speaking on transitioning from the military to the civilian workplace; Ms. April Kelly, Senior Director of Customer Operations at LinkedIn.com speaking on using professional and social networks for career advancement; Ms. Mary Elizabeth Bradford, owner of Bradford Career Coaching speaking on the hidden job market and how to access it and Mr. Karl Kabanek will be speaking on 8.5 things you have to consider in your career advancement plan. We will also have a networking reception on Tuesday evening from 4:30 to 6:30 for those who may not be able to attend during the day.
