Following the postponement of the July mission, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), Science & Innovation UK and Bio-M (The biotech cluster organisation for the Munich region) are organising a trade mission to the German State of Bavaria for UK companies active in the biotech and biopharmaceutical industry. Not only do we aim to develop opportunities and promote business for UK companies, but also to build strong, long-term relationships with one of Europe’s top Biotechnology regions. Bio-M are specifically looking for UK companies with experience in the following fields: Drug Development, CNS, Vaccines, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Clinical Research or Diagnostics, Tissue Engineering/Cell Culture, Oncology, all Diseases, Genomics, Nanobiotechnology, Neuronal drugs, Synthesis, Antibody Production or Autoimmunity. The mission will visit the greater Munich area. The British Consulate in Düsseldorf, with the support of the UK Science and Innovation teams will be organising a programme that will deliver a valuable business and networking platform for participating companies. The programme will include seminars and one-to-one meetings with innovative Bavarian companies; and the option to visit the grounds of a world-leading Bio-pharma company.
