A letter to the members, Since our linked group started in December of 2008 we have grown to almost 450 users and we’ve organized networking events with over 50 responses. This signals that there is a void in the DFW area that needs to be filled. Over the past weeks a few of us have started drafting the charter for a DFW IT Professionals User group. The group will have monthly speaking events designed to add value to the community in addition to our networking lunches and future Happy Hours. Since the community is what has made this group grow we want to invite you to join us at Champps October 6th and give us your feedback. This is your opportunity to help shape a new organization dedicated to the DFW IT Pro Community. While this won’t be the only time we ask for the community’s inputs it will set the agenda for the next few months. What better way to celebrate our success, brainstorm the next wave of events, and enjoy great company than to meet for some food, drinks and discussion. The event will be from 5:30 – 7pm at Champps in Addison. Happy hour will be in effect and appetizers are half off. We look forward to growing this group together for the community.
