Jon received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Duke, and is an active member of the Pratt SoE Board. Jon has had a distinguished career in the ecosystem, having started at a senior management position at Open Market, an e-comerce site that IPO'd in 2006. Jon then moved onto become a General Partner at Charles River Ventures, but in recent years has decided to start and operate his own companies. Jon simultaneously founded and served as CEO of Groom Energy while founding and incubating Digitial Lumens. ******************************************* Boston is home to a hotbed of entrepreneurial activity, and in an effort to foster new connections between these business experts, the Duke Global Entrepreneurship Network is hosting an open networking event Wednesday, 8/3, at Greentown Labs. This is part of the 7th DukeGEN Multi-City Networking Event, involving similar events held the same day in cities around the world. DukeGEN works to create debate, dialogue, and productive connections between Duke entrepreneurs.
