?The Caribbean Collection: A Coastal Experience
Elvin Serrano, Commercial Pilot/Travel Photographer;
The Caribbean, with its diverse foods, architectures, languages and cultures, make it an ideal place to explore. These images were picked because they transport me, and the viewer to a place where time does not exist.
The Love of Flying
As a youngster, Elvin?s father used to take him to local airports to see airplanes take-off and land, and this ignited his love for flying. Soon after graduating from Montclair State University with a B.A in Psychology, Elvin enrolled in a flight school and graduated as a commercial pilot and flight instructor. Throughout his career as a pilot, Elvin has seen many striking sights that were simply breathtaking from all other the world: USA, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and Asia. Some of these sights were from the sheer beauty of landscapes and some were unique to flying or related to weather.
The Love of Photography
In recent years, Elvin?s passion for travel and his admiration of the world and its beauty led him into photography. One thing soon became clear to Elvin: he wanted to capture these amazing sights and share them with others. Hence, Elvin became a photographer, capturing amazing beauty in his travels, and bringing them to viewers. Elvin is driven by his primary passions: nature, travels and flying.
