The St. Louis Product Management Group is proud to present the August 2010 meeting -- a presentation by Rick Evans on "Financial Skills for Product Managers." About this presentation: Financial skills are required for all product managers, though many have very limited knowledge of finance. This presentation will cover fundamental financial skills for product managers and other non-financial professionals. About the presenter: Rick Evans is a financial professional with over 20 years of experience in forecasting, budgeting, accounting and financial analysis. He was most recently at Solutia where he was the Senior Financial Analyst for the nylon business. Prior to Solutia, he held manager of financial analysis positions at Solae and Emerson Electric. While working for Solae, he evaluated business development and R&D opportunities and was a key member of the facilities team that determined the headquarters site. Rick has a history of streamlining processes and received special recognition for negotiating $10M in government incentives. He began his career as an accounting manager at the Missouri Historical Society. He has a BS-BA from University of Missouri-Columbia and a MBA from University of Missouri-St. Louis. Rick is from St. Louis and currently lives in Fenton with his wife, Dana, and their two young boys.
