The purpose of the Global Maritime Information Sharing Symposium is to provide a forum for maritime industry leaders and government representatives to share perspectives and build trust on maritime awareness and maritime security issues, while creating focused working groups to implement initiatives that can positively impact maritime commerce, safety, security and the environment. Kevin Walsh (IT Manager) . UPDATE: We were very excited to learn today that Michael Jones, Chief Technology Advocate for Google, Inc. has been confirmed as the Keynote Speaker for GMISS 2010. Mr. Jones will join a number of other distinguished speakers, moderators and panelists including VADM Sally Bryce-O'Hara, Deputy Commandant of the U.S. Coast Guard, and VADM David J.
