The Illustration Biannual is a new Dutch event that aims to show the power and variety of illustration in a versatile program, full of visual elements. Saturday June 5, from 11.30 till 18.00 hours, there will be various inspiring lectures and presentations by Dutch and international illustrators, a digital exhibition showing work of about 100 international illustrators, projected on screens and a 'walking exhibition' showing illustrations printed on T-shirts. Those will be for sale in the shop in the hall of the theater along with special editions and handmade prints. Illustrators present their work: Cyprian Koscielniak editorial and political, Maartje Kunen medical scientific, Paul Faassen humor en cartoons, Merijn Hos 50% illustrator/50% artist, Studio Spass illustrative design, Han Hoogerbrugge multidisciplinary and animation, Miss Blackbirdy fashion, Fiep Westendorp Award 2009, en from abroad: Chris Silas Neal USA, editorial, and Julie Verhoeven fashion and more, GB.
